BIRKENHEAD ORPHANS.
ANNUAL LADIES' NIGHT,
The lady friends of members were the guests of the. Birkenhead and Northcote Orphans' Club on Saturday, the large gathering being welcomed by the president, Mr. G. B. Cliinnery. The past president, Dr. J. W. Craven, was the chairman for the evening. An enjoyable programmq included selections by the orchestra, under Mr. J. H. Reich, songs by Mr. J. O'Malle.y and magic by Mr. R. H. F. Grace. The latter part of the evening was devoted to dancing, to the music of the club's orchestra, the master of ceremonies being the secretary, Mr. J. W. Hollows.
