CONSORTING CHARGE
ISLANDER SENT TO PRISON.
An islander, Francis John Peekham, agod 37, was sentenced to three months imprisonment in the Police Court today by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., on a. charge of being an idle and disorderly person who habitually consorted with reputed thieves.
On another charge of receiving a qua ll ' tity of tobacco and cigarettes on,. September IS, well knowing the goods to have been dishonestly obtained, Peekham was remanded to appear on September 19.
