Dromos led Contact over six furlongs in 1.19. l 0U( j Applause and Trevaee covered four furlongs in 345, Sir John and Whittingham doing a similar task in the same time Gay Blonde and Gay Sheila did the last three furlongs of good work in 40s. Gay Sheik is suffering from lameness.

At Roeebery, on the outside of the course proper, Peter Pan ran six f ur . longs in 1.18%, and went particularly well. His trainer is satisfied that Peter Paii is now quite well. Rogilla did eix furlongs in 1.21%. He has also recovered from his lameness. Barak and Curator ran six furlongs in 1.18. Australia Fair did the best five furlongs in 1.4%. Commenting on Silver Ring's close fourth yesterday; the "Telegraph" eaye: '•The important part of his run was that he walked away without showing any signs of the lameness which recently aifected him."
