OCTOGENARIANS WED.
PEER AND SISTER-IN-LAW,

With his bride, aged 81, on crutches and subsequently wheeled from the registry office in an invalid chair, Lord Monteagle, 83, married his sister-in-law, Mrs. Julia Isabella Spring Rice at Kensington to-day.
Lord Monteajde is the fourth holder of I a title granted first to the Rt. Hon. i Thomas Spring Rice, M.P. for Limerick ! and Cambridge, Secretary for the Colonies, 1 and Chancellor of the Exchequer. The peerage was created in 1839. The present baron retired as a commander from the Xavy in 1897. He was a brother of the second baron, and an uncle of the third, whom he succeeded last year. He wan a widower. His wife, Elizabeth Ann FitzI Gerald, daughter of the 19th Knight of 1 Kerry, died in 1922.
