'PLANE HELD UP.
; WITH WHITEBAIT CARGO. I ; PROBLEM FOR PILOT. m (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, this day. A strange "ho'kl up" occurred at ■ the Blenheim aerodrome, where Mr. J. J. Busch, the Canterbury Aero Club's commercial pilot was stranded on account of bad weather with a cargo of 5501b of whitebait. He was faced with the problem of whether to sell his cargo on « limited market which was already well stocked with the local article or whether to hang on in hopes that the weather would clear in time to enable him to land hi. s consignment in Christchurch in good order and condition. Sir. Busch left Karamea for ChristChurch yesterday on the second of a series of flights carrying whitebait to the Canterbury metropolis, but bad weather necessitated his crossing to Blenheim, where he landed late in the afternoon. To-day, though the weather in Blenheim is fine again after heavy rain, the conditions to the south precluded a flight to Christchurch, while Wellington was also unworkable by aircraft. \ . .
The problem was solved this afternoon when the whitebait was shipped to Wellington by the Tamahine.,
