METHODIST "AT HOME."
The ladies of the Nbrthcote Methodist Church entertained their friends from Auckland and suburbs at an enjoyable At Home recently. The Sunday school hall was decorated with spring flowers and long sprays of clematis, which were much admired. Elocutionary items by Mrs. and Miss Pamela Linder, of Hamilton, piano solos by Miss Paulino and songs by Misses May Mitchell ami Winifred Johnson were enjoyed. The accompaniments were played by Mrs. Hurley and Miss Rogers. The-hostesses were Mcsdames Martin, Stewart, .Toll, Allely, Horsman, Crawshaw, Goad, Shorter, J. W. Court, Ward. Stirling, Turner, W. J. Court, A. Turner, Wadham, La Roche, Blair, Grady, Johnson, Nicholson, Mieses Wadhamj Crisp, J. Stewart and M. Lepper.
