GROWING TOWNS.
V 0 EULSFORD DEVELOPMENT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, this day. - Notable progress is being made by small towns in North Auckland, including Kaitaia, Kaikohe and Wellsford. In thlj last-named town this month over £6000 worth of new work has oc-.n put in hand. In recent years Wellsford has made great progress, new shops and dwellings having been erected. The latest project is a two-storeyed block of shops with a basement. Portion of the block will be occupied by the Bank of New Zealand, which recently opened a branch. Situated on the main trunk railway line, Wellsford is ad vantage l maly situated, for good land lies wilinu easy distance at Port Albert on bhs west and Pakiri on the east.
