LYNNDALE AMATEURS. Last Saturday the Lynndale Club held a junior 13%-mile race and an 18-mile senior iace. Tlie senior race was the second race for the Willis Cup, this .cup being won by Xorm. Helliwell, with a second in each race. The weather was excellent for racing and some very good times were put up in the senior event. E. Hughes was onlv 47s outside Colin. Gooders record. Keith Walker (6.30) was having his fifth ride and has shown steady improvement each week and every° ne was very pleased when he was the first junior over the white line. Leslie Ha»yke (11:30) was second, after having a spill half a. mile from the finishing line. Leslie is tlie youngest rider in the club and Iβ very Brian Carbury (scr) was third and fastest junior, after beating Gordon Helli\ppll in a very close finish. .
