MR. JOHN WILLIS.
Mr. John Willis, whose death has occurred at the Auckland Hospital, was born in Christchureh in 1801. He was the third, son of Mr. Geo. Willis, who arrived in New Zealand in the ship Crecy. His early life was spent in Southbrook and North Canterbury. Later Mr. Willis moved to Taranaki, and then to the Auckland province. Mr. Willis is survived by his wife, two sons, Mr. C. Willis, of Matapu, Taranaki, and Mr. A. Willis, of Otorohanga, and three daughters, Mre. »S. Wright, of Matamata, Mrs. H. Boddy, of Te Kuiti, and Mrs. A. Hewitt, of Waiau Pa. Three sons died during the Great War.
