PIANO CHAMPIONSHIP.
CHRISTCHURCH GIRL'S WIN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ASHBURTON, this day. The principal event at the Ashburton competitions, the piano championship for the Tucker trophy, wae won by Miss Jean McLcod, of Chrietchurch, with 2.34 pointe. Miss Audrey Ruddock, of Ashburton, who scored 251 points, wae* runner-up last year.
Bach's Chromatic Fantasic and Fugue is next year's test.
