FALL FROM LADDER.
MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED
Serious head injuries were received by an employee of the Colonial Sugar Company, Mr. William Dean, aged 30, of 44, Glenfield Road, Birkenhead, when he fell from a ladder at the company's refinery at -Chelsea this morning. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the Devonport St. John ambulance, where his condition is reported to be serious. Mr. Dean is a well-known athlete and a member of tho North Shore Rowing Club.
