ROTARY CLUB.
NEXT YEAE'S CONFERENCE. Vice-president Rotarian D. Henry occupied the chair at to-day's lunch meeting of the Auckland Rotary Club, held in Milne ancl Choyce's reception hall. There was a large attendance, and amongst the visitors were: Messrs. J. Payne, R. H. Nesbitt, C. J. B. Norwood and A. J. Coleman (Wellington), A. C. Burgess and H. Clark (Hamilton), R. J. Deare (New Plymouth), F. McCullough (Thames) and E. A. Millward (Wangamii). The chairman stated that advice had been received from the Rotary executive meeting at Wellington that the next district conference would be held in Auckland at the end of February, 1930. The speaker of the day was the Rev. A. C. Nelson, of the Beresford Street Congregational Church, who spoke on the subject of international relationships. The vote of thanks was moved by Rotarian Padre A. Thompson.
