AUSTRALIAN RADIO MAN. VOICE HEARD FROM RUSSIA. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. Fears for the safety of Mr. Emil Voight appear to be dissolved by the report of a Napier radio enthusiast who picked up a Russian station last night.

The station had as portion of its programme a talk by a speaker from Station 2KY, Sydney, Australia. Tin listener heard the initials "E.R.," bat was unable to distinguish the surname. The speaker referred to a number of observations he had made in Russia, and requested DX verifications in Australia and New Zealand. A cable sent from London on August 4 stated that nothing, had been heard of Mr. Emil Voight, general manager of the Sydney broadcasting station 2KY, since he arrived in Berlin a fortnight previously. It was reported he had previously written regularly to his wife, who is staying in Manchester. It was also Stated that Mr. Voight intended proceeding to Russia to continue his radio investigations.
