ASSAULT IN STREET.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANOANUI, Wednesday. A sentence of eighteen months' imprisonment was inij>o-.ert in the Supreme Court to-day by the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, on a young man, Stanley Anderson, who hiul been found guilty of indecently assaulting a girl in the street. The evidence was that accused accosted the girl near a street lamp. In an identification parade tho complainant picked out accused, who was grouped with ten other men of similar type and build.
