CANADIAN HIGHLANDER IN. MARTPOSA IN THE MORNING. The British Phosphate Commission's I new 8000-ton motor ship Triaster arrived shortly after G a.m. with phosphate from Nauru. The Canadian Highlander, direct from Montreal, arrived at 1 p.m., berthing later at the Queen's wharf. She has news print and general cargo. The Mateon liner Mariposa will arrive from San Francisco early tomorrow, berthing at the Prince's wharf at 7 a.m. She lias 151 passengers for Auckland and 334 through for Sydney and Melbourne, about 170 joining the ship here. In future these vessels will not stop oir Niuafoou to drop the tin-can mail, the Mariposa being the first to pass the island on her Southern run. Triaster arrived from Nauru Island early this morning. She discharges her full cargo of 79.">0 tons of phosphate at the King's wharf. (8.P.C.) Marama left for Wcllingto at 0.30 p.m. yesterday in continuation of her run from Sydney. She leaves Wellington on her return at 3 p.m. to-morrow. (U.S.S. Co.) Amiral Charner left the Western wharf sharp at 5 p.m. yesterday, clearing the harbour 20 minutes later, en route for Noumea and China. (French Navy.) Rangitane left for Wellington ehortly after 5 p.m. yesterday to continue the discharge of her cargo from London. ! (N.Z.S. Co.) Surrey left the Queen's wharf at 7 a.m. to-day for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to discharge the balance of her , cargo from Liverpool. (N.Z.S. Co.) Wanganella leaves Sydney for Auckland on Monday, arriving here next Friday morning. She sails for Sydney on Saturday, a day luter than schedule. (H.P.) Brisbane Mara arrived at Wellington this morning. She will leave for Auckland to-morrow afternoon and is due here on Sunday, sailing for Sydney on Monday afternoon. (Fanners' Co-op.) Tamaroa will not leave New Plymouth until Saturday and is due at Auckland on Monday morning. She sails for London next Friday. (A.S.P.) Waipahi is duo from Wellington in the morning. She loads here for Suva, sailing at 10 a.m. on Saturday. (U.S.S. Co.) Waimarino leavee to-inorrow afternoon on her regular run to Southern I ports. (U.S.S. Co.) PORT FAIRY TO LYTTELTON. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line motor ship Port Fairy is due at Lyttelton from Lomlon iihout August 14. After discharge she will load at Timaru, Oamaru, Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth and Auckland. Slip Is scheduled to leave Auckland for London, via Cape Horn and Dakar, on September 17. MATAROA LEAVING SOUTHAMPTON. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Mataroa is expected to leave Southampton on Frhlay with passengers and mail for New Zealand, and cargo frem London for discharge at Auckland and Wellington. She is due at Auckland on September 12. STEAMER FROM NEW YORK. The City of Tokio, which is to leave New York for New Zealand on September IC. will be followed by the City of Mamlalay. leaving on October 8.
