METROPOLITAN RELIEF.
COMMITTEE'S TINANCES. The Auckland Metropolitan Relief Committee since it began operations has received £36,141 4/5, and paid out £35,567 9/5. These figures were presented in the report of the honorarytreasurer, Mr. J. S. Brigham, at to-day's meeting of the committee. Since the report was compiled £1128 has been received from the proceeds of the "My Turn of Luck" art union, and the cash balance now in hand is £1687.
