AFRICANS WIN.

MATCH IN WALES.

Glamorgan Defeated by 96 Runs. REPORTER'S FATEFUL CATCH. (United P.A.—Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, August 6. Requiring 213 runs to beat the South Africans, and with nine wickets in hand, Glamorgan failed to realise hopes that the Welsh county would be the first team to vanquish the visitors. The South Africans won by 96 runs.

The South Africans' fighting qualities enabled them to maintain their unbeaten record. Louis Duffus, a journalist, fielding substitute for Wade, brought off a smart slip-catch, which dismissed Dyson. Glamorgan then collapsed.
