Maoris Enjoying Rest Before Final Test With N.S.W.
WALLACE'S EXPECTATIONS,
(Received 11 a.m.)
SYDNEY, this day.
The members of the Maori Rugby team are at present enjoying a rest after their heavy travelling in recent weeks.
"We are indeed glad to have a spell," said Mr. W. J. Wallace, who is himself a casualty, having injured a leg while directing training operations at Melbourne.
Many of the Maoris have bruises as the result of hard games and hard grounds, but Mr. Wallace expects to have his team fit and confident for Saturday's deciding Test with New South Wales.
