A POOR DISPLAY.
The most disappoints display of the day was provided in the Somerville-Wesley came, and perhaps only the supporters ot Somerville could raise a little enthusiasm when the final whistle sounded and their team led by three goals to one. Neither side showed the least semblance of combination, and the 70 minutes' of play were marked by too much individual effort. Ot the four goals registered three came ironi corner hits. There were numerous occasions when some fine movements could have eventuated, but crude hard hitting tactics prevailed.
