ENTRIES REJECTED.
It has been decided by the committee of the Australian Jockey Club that as High Art (imp.) was not subscribed for in connection with the Sires' Produce Stakes, 1936, the entry of the bay colt by High Art (imp.) or Silvius (imp.) from Aulone could not be accepted for that race. The Aulone colt, who is a half-brother to the speedy Buonarroti, was sold at the last yearling sales to the Melbourne trainer S. Ferguson, acting for Mr. Merson Cooper, a member of the committee of the V.A.T.C., for 550 guineas, and was named Silver Reign. The V.R.C. committee has also decided to reject the entry of Silver Reign, an entrant for the V.R.C. Sires' Produce Stakes. Before the V.R.C. rejected the entry of Silver Reign the nomination had been refused by the A.J.C., which took, the view that it would be unwise to accept' the entry of Silver Reign for the A.J.C. S, re . s Produce Stakes in view of the fact mat the colt's sire is doubtful. ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENTS. QUERY (Wanganui)—9/ and £1 SUNSET.-U) £2 10/; Sf IS" 4/
