The Sydney Stock Exchange wae extremely busy to-day. This wae due partly to an accumulation of orders over the holiday. Investment prices generally maintained their recent upward trend. Banks were well supported as were moving picture interests. Broken Hill shares went higher. This morning's salee included: —Commonwealth 4 per cent bonds: 1941, £103 12/6; 1044, £104 12/6; 1951, £104 13/9; 1901, £10.5.
