SCHOOL COMMITTEES.
BIENMT-Alj ELECTIONS.
In response to a request from _ the Kowliai intermediate school committee suggesting that the election of intermediate school committees be held biennially, with the next in 1938, the Education Department informed the Auckland Education Board this morning that the appropriate time for biennial elections would seem to be after the May, 1936, elections of all school committees.
