HARRIERS.
TECHNICAL OLD BOYS. Tho harriers of the Technical CollegeOld Roys' Athletic Club held a run on Saturday from the home ot Mr. K. Scott, Point Chevalier. The run-ins resulted :— Slow Pack. — W. Pearson 1, .T. J. Swindells 2. W. Pearson •'!. R. A. Gibbs 4, S. Spencer 5, P. X. Laird 0. Fast Tack.—N. V. Cooper 1, L. C. Barker 2, N. Brierly :i, K. F. Whitten 4, V. Knight r>, E. .T. Laird 8. Thr» opportunity was taken by Mr. Gudtsell oC bidding farewell on behalf of the club to N. F. Cooper, a club member, who lias been selected in the New Zealand crone-country team to visit Australia. As a token of esteem and appreciation Mr. Gudsell presented Mr. Cooper with a camera. BAPTIST CLUB'S RUN. Splendid weather conditions prevailed for the Auckland Baptist Harrier Club's run from North Memorial Church. The course of some five miles made from Kemuera Road across country to the old Lake St. John, thence by road and track to Ladies Mile and Kemuera Road. There were IS runners divided into fast and slow packs. W. Keeveley was prominent in the slow pack, which was under the charge of A. R I'earce. The fast pack men set a pood pace throughout. S. Edgar and A. Carbines showed lino form. A measured 100 yards sprint at the finish resulted as follows: 1). Ellingham (oyds) 1. W. Fountain (.->yds) 2, D. P. Knight (scr) 3, R. Wilson (oyds) 4, A. J. Duncan (2yds) 5. WESLEY CLUB. Tho above cluli held a run of approximately 01 miles, starting from the Mount Roskill school. The ideal weather conditions went to make the run, which covered tho Waikowhal and Mount Rosklll districts, one of the most pleasant to date. Tho club divided into throe packs, and finished at a point one mile from the school, -where the fourth of the series of handicap runs-in commenced. The results were as follows:— Fast Pack.—l*. Stewart 1, M. Ilewitson 2, W. F. Chappell :>, R. Skyrnae and W. Winstone 4. Intermediate Pack.—A. Itowe 1, A. King 2 I! Verry '■'•, S. I'liipps 4, S. Monro r>. Slow Pack.— J. Carter 1, A. Colllngs 2, D. Bennett 3. Junior Pack.—lt. J. Barnett 1.
