Grammar OKI Boys and Otahuhii were both defeated when the competition, was continued on Saturday in brilliant sunshine. ' Graftou and Otahubii were given pride of place- on Xo. 1 Eden Park and provided a match full of sparkle for Grafton to win comfortably b.v 14 points to G. After trailing Grammar for the greater part of the two spells, Mariet scored a succession of points in the laet tew minutes to score a surprise victory at the Showgrounds. University romped away from Manukan on No. - Eden Park in a feast of trygetting, even the full-back, R. G. Bush, Fcorin;: a spectacular try from a dazzling back attack. On the next field Technical College Old Boys completely swamped College Rifles. It was definitely another day of surprises. Result:— Grafton 14, beat Otalmhu 6. University 31. beat Manukau 6.
