POINT-TO -POINT MEETING. NEW PLYMOUTH, Saturday. Results of the Taranaki, Hunt Club's point-to-point meeting on the New Plymouth racecourse : — Trial Hunters' Steep'ochase, about two miles.—Potere, 11.0 (Mr. \V. Hicks), 1 ■ Potolier, 11.7 (Mr A. Cole). 2; Waitanui. 110 (Mr. F. Hnrlow). 8. Sideshot, 11.7, the only other starter, fell. Two lengths; one furlong. First-class Hunters' Steeplechase, about two miles and a half.—Xgareta. 12.0 (Mr. \V Hicks), 1; Susie Pie, 11.7 (Mr. P. Davidson), 2: Razor, 12.4 (Mr. R. Foreman), 3. Also started: Dracula, 11.12: Whenunniii. 11.7: Stilts. 11.4. In a j-re.it finish Xgareta just held off Susie Pie to win by a short head. Hunters" Flat, about six furlongs.—ei.l: Sox, 12.7 (Mr. It. Topless), 1: King Cole, 11.7 (Mr P. Cole), 2; Whenuanul, 12.0 (Mr D. McKie), 3. Also started: Hapless,. 12.0'; Money Boy, 11.10; Sideshot, Waitanui, 11.0. Won easily.
