BOY'S BODY FOUND.
DEVONPORT SCHOOLBOY. HARBOUR DISCOVER'Y. The body of a hoy. helieved to be that of Michael Carter.' aged 13. of 114, Calliope Road, Devonport, who had been missing from his home since early on the morning of July 6. was discovered this morning floating ■ between tie Devonport wharf and the cable steamer Recorder at 10 o'clock this morning. The boy went to gather firewood on the Devonpoift foreshore the morning he disappeared, and although an extensive search was cari'cd out by relatives and police. no trace was found. An employee on the Recorder, Mr. L. Lonj, noticed the body floating near his ship this morning.
