INTER-ZONE FINAL. UNITED STATES V. GERMANY. BUDGE TOO GOOD FOR HENKEL. LONDON, July 21. In the inter-zone final of the Davis Cup contest, at Wimbledon, on Saturday, Budge (United States of America) beat Henkel (Germany), 7—5, 11—0, 6—B, 6—l. It was rather a tame encounter, Henkel playing a defensive game throughout. Budge made many errors through impatience. Rain caused the postponement of the match between von Cramm (Germany) and Allison (United States). MALFROY BEATS JAPANESE. LONDON, July 21. In the final of the men's singles at the Frinton tournament, on Saturday, C. E. Mnlfroy (New Zealand) beat Nishimura (Japan), 6 —2, B—6.
