OUR COMPETITION CORNER
As the great Sunshine Campaign is drawing to a close we have decided to use the word "Campaign" in to-day's competition. Contestants are to spell the word perpendicularly instead of horizontally, then spell it backwards in the column opposite. The task is then to fill in the space with words beginning and ending with the letters given, as in the example, "Winter."
The longer the words you find the better, as the work will be judged by the number of syllables in the built words. Remember, "Campaign" is the word that provides the initials for the new words. Post yotor list to reach Peter Pan, care "Star" Office, Shortland c *- * Auc'-land. not later than Saturday next.
