HOPKINS TO MEET BLOMFIELD. A bout between George Hopkins and "Lofty" Blomfield has been arranged for Monday evening by the Auckland Wrestling Association in place of the return match between Blomfield and Kruskamp. COUNTRY AMATEUR BOUTS. (Isy Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) THAMES, Friday. The Thames Wrestling Association, in conjunction with the Ilikutaia Clnb, held a programme of amateur bouts at Hikutaia last evening. There was a large attendance and good exhibitions were given. Results: — A. Barnett (8.12%) drew with H. Avery (8.12); G. Smith (9.4 M:) gained a submission fall from G. Robinson (9.6); B. Watene (11.2) beat O. Hislop (11.0); N. Smith (8.10) beat E. McNeil (8.2); C. Avery (10.12) beat D. Rendel (11.0); G. Avery (10.6) drew with J. Rare (10.12).
