WELLINGTON, Friday. After having been missing from his home at Paekakariki since Wednesday, John James Beattie Craig, an unem- ; ployed man, was found lying dead 300 yards away, with a wound in the head, and a shotgun beside the body. Deceased, who was 47, borrowed a shotgun and three rounds of ammunition and went out, saving to his wife that lie was to have a shot at some rabbits.
