I LONDON, June 29. j People who praise what they call the pood oUI days "don't know what they j are talkinir about" is the opinion of Mr. Henry Bridgwater, of Sedglcy, in AA orcestershire. who celebrated his 100 th birthday this week. Talking to the Mayor of Dudley, who conveyed the town s congratulations to him, he said, "Everything changes, for the better." A day or so.ago he ordered a new suit of clothes and told his tailor to make I an extra pair of trousers with it. "One pair never lasts mo more than two years." he explained. Mr. Bridgwater was formerly an alderman of Dudley Council. -
