YIELDS OF COMPANIES. Maori Gully CWest week, 270z Sdwt, for 110 i hours. Golrlen Sands.—sooz 17dwt, for 42 shifts of eight hours. Mossy Creek (West Const). —Last week, oOoz Idwt, for 136 hours and 10,562 yards. Giliespie's Beach.—37oz lOdwt, for 132 hours. Okarlto.—3soz 17dwt, for 127 hours. MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. ' Mahakipawa (Marlborough).—No. 2 blocking strip south was advanced' to 30ft In poor grade wash. The bottom is extromnly hard and smooth and is rising gradually. North prospecting drive was started from the end.of tho.north blocking strip and luis been driven 15ft in poor grade wash. This appears to be following the western wall on the one side, while on the eastern side of the drive the bottom is ISin underfoot. A south-east drive has been stanrted to connect with the north prospecting drive. The first 18ft of this has been in old workings. When this is through we will have an almost straight run through to the Golden Gate shaft. Tho easterly strip was cleaned up underfoot and yielded 320z coarse gold. One piece was 25dwt and several others over lodwt. This strip is now finished. Up to tho present operations on the new gutter, of which about 70ft has been stripped, have yielded a total of HOoz alluvial gold.
