The Auckland Amateur Athletic Club held their weekly contest on Saturday on the TMlerslio racecourse, where most of the oliib't: runners were competing in the 10,000-metre race, the usual club steeplechase being cut out. Results: — 75 Yards.—First heat: Prendergast 1, Castles 2, Ainoretti 3 ; time 7 4-ss. Second heat: Pinson 1, Adams 2, Gyde 3; time 7 4-ss. Third heat: Sutton 1, Pow 2, Taylor 3; time 7 3-ss. Fourth heat: F. Savidan 1, Cooper 3, Murphy 3; time 7 4-ss. Final: A. 15. Sutton (14yds) 1, V. Amorctti (OJyds) 2, A. Gyde (Byds) 3; time 7 3-Ds. Putting the Shot.—V.
