RAILWAY ASSOCIATION,
There -was a Inrge and representative gathering of railway bowlers at a meeting held in the Railway Social Hall, Newmarket, on Sunday, when it wns decided to form n Rnilwny Bowline Association for the Auckland district. The opinion was generally expressed that some special facilities should be provided to enter for the needs of railwaymen, who, by the nnture of their duties, nre unable to avail themselves of the ordinary club facilities. An effort is to be made to provide n green in the near future. Officers were elpctcd ns follow:—President. Mr. A. M. Hammond; vice-president, Mr. R. Moore; secretary, Mr. N. McGoffan ; treasurer.
