FIJI'S EXPERT MARKSWOMEN.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) SUVA, June 28.
With many records of wins against visiting men teams, including those- of most of the visiting warships, the markswomen of the Suva. Rifle Club have earned a name worth while. In their last "shoot/ , Mrs. Chivers, wife of Lieut. Chivers, of the Defence Force, led. with 99 out of a "possible" 100 for the Governor's Cup ; and with 48 out of a "possible" of 50 for the Chief Justice's Cup. In the former, five, ladies scored 92 and over, in the latter no fewer than seven scored 44 and over. The club champion, Miss Mary Turner, was married recently, and is en route foxBritain on her honeymoon.
