JUNIOR MANAGEMENT.

NOMINATION KNOCK-OUT ENTRIES.

At the meeting of the junior management committee of the Auckland Rugby League last evening, Mr. D. Wilkie presiding, nominations were received for the senior B competition and nominations for the seventh grade knock-out competition were extended until Friday. A letter from Huntly juniors for a match against a third grade team at Auckland was referred to the ground allocator. It was decided in reply to an application made by Newton Rangers on behalf of the Kamo Club (Northland) that a match for the Northern junior club would be arranged in four or five weeks' time for a fixture in Auckland either early at No. 2 ground, Carlaw Park, or the Outer Domain. The Ponsonby Club advised that Mr. J. C. Lumsden had been appointed junior delegate vice Mr. D. Lane. The Northcote Club reported that in connection with the drawn third game against Richmond at Northcote, a linesman put up his flag, but later informed the referee that a try was scored. The matter -.-.'as referred to the Referees' Association. The committee supported the senior board that Richmond Club must pay the transfer fee yi respect of H. Divers, acquired last season. In the drawn fifth grade match Ellerslie v. Richmond B, it was reported that a Richmond player was out of order, and the match was awarded to Ellerslie. The Richmond Club regretfully admitted that the coach mistakenly allowed an emergency player of the A team to come on and ordered him off when later it was found he was out of order. The Richmond Club explanation was made without the knowledge of the protest, which had to be upheld. The suspension of G. Carroll, of Manukau A third grade, was held over for a week pending the result of Manukau Club transfer.
