ROAD CONSTRUCTION.
BRITISH FIVE-YEAR PLAN. (British Official Wireless.) . RUGBY, June 20. Programmes for the improvement of existing road construction, new by-pass roads and the reconstruction of bridges over a period of five years have been submitted to tlie Minister of Transport, Mr. L. Hore-Belisha, by 52 counties, 50 county-boroughs and nine large Scottish boroughs.
