LOCAL BODIES.
ASSOCIATION OFFICERS. The annual meeting of the Auckland. Suburban and Local Bodies' Associativa was held last evening, the president, Mr. I. J. Goldstine, Mayor of One Tree Hill, presiding. The following were elected officers>— President, Mr. I. J. Goldstine (sixth successive term); vice-preeideuts,' Messre. B Brigham, S. Donaldson; executive, Messrs. C. L. Slyfielcl, W. J. Nicholson, H. F. W. Meikle; honorary auditor, Mr. A. A. Coates. There wae some discussion following the receipt of a letter from the Onehungii. Borough Council asking the association to consider tha question of a uniform height for building studs. The opinion was that the matter should bo left to the local bodies theineelvee to fix the minimum height in their respective boroughs, and it was decided to. take no action in the matter.
