KENTISH ASSOCIATION.
A Very pleasant time was spent by members and friends of the Auckland branch of the Association of Men of Kent and Kentish Men and Women last Tuesday at the Fabian Club, when they held a card evening. The president, Mr. W. J. Lane, and Mrs. Lane received the guests, and several new members were welcomed. The bridge winners were Mrs. A. G. Jones, Mrs. A. J. Coppins and Mr. H. K. Parker; 500, M"9. Farley Hunt, Mrs. F. G. Jones and Mr. F. Blackford. After supper a delightful bracket of eongs was given by Mr. E. W. Robbins, who was accompanied by Mrs. Robbins. Dancing to the music supplied by Mr. S. Aspinall concluded the evening.
