L A letter posted in West Hartlepool nearly 20 years ago lias just caught up with William Hammond, now living in Vancouver. It was sent to him by. his mother during the war. Hammond had joined up in Winnipeg in 1914, and the letter has been following him rll over the ivorld since 1015,
