t A.U.C. CLUB. Tllo A.U.C. Harrier Club held a wellattended run from the Mount Roskill School. The club was divided into three packs and led over the Three Kings and Mount Roskill. A seven-mile course was covered which provided plenty of experience in cross-country work. The fallowing men finished in the order indicated: H. Maxwell, J. Graham. H. McElroy, V. Ken rick. Previous to the main run a 100 yds sprint was held, the leading men being: Maxwell and Stevenson (tie) 1, Kay 3, Hall 4, Lang 5, Grahame 6. TECHNICAL OLD BOYS. The Mission Bay course of the Technical harriers found a large attendance at today's run of nine miles. The following are the results of the three packs:— Slow Pack.—Ohms 1, Taylor 2, Swindells 3, Wiltshire 4, Nicholson 5. Intermediate.—Shine 1, Brown 2, White 3, Gates 4, Knight 5. Fast Pack. —Cooper 1, Nicholson 2, Barker 3, Harding 4, Brierly 5. WESLEY CLUB. Thirty-two members were present at a run from the Partiell School. The course led from Brighton Road to Shore Road, and then cross-country to Mission Bay, from which point the Waterfront Road was followed back to the Parnell Baths, covering in all approximately 7 miles. The second of a series of handicap runs-in was held, over a distance of 880 yds, the results being :— Fast Pack. —I. Spooner 1, V. Wynn 2, M. Hewltson 3, S. Cole 4, A. Graham 5. Intermediate Pack.—S, Moore 1, A. King 2 A Howe 3, F. Mills and B. Berry 4. Slow Puck. —J. Carter 1, T. Ellison 2, E. Pain 3, Uussell 4, Bennett 5. Junior Pack.—lt. Burnett 1, K. Lawry 2, G. Hooking 3. ! PRESBYTERIAN CLUB. The Frcshyterlnn Club held a run from St. Luke's Church, Kemuern, over country embracing road, paddock, sewer and marsh land. The platings in the three usual packs were just as expected, but in the special rneing pack Field showed a from St. Luke's Church, Remucra, over clean pair of heels to his team mates. The placings were : — Fast Pack.—J. I. B. Neil. W. A. Ross, J. Holden, A. Plummer, R. Linfoot. Intermediate.—W. Brown, H. Young, K. Hancock. H. Easton. Slow Pack.—B. Kitchener, 11. Boys, B. Devitt. W. Mclndoc, J. Frnnkham. Racing Pack.—V. O. Field. The remainder of the pack finished in a bunch. with Wildcrspin, Barbour and Budge well up. LYNNDALE CLUB. The.Lynndalc Harrier Club held nn eightmile run commencing from the Avondaie racecourse. Weather conditions were fair but the recent heavy rains made the going very heavy. There was a good muster of members, but agiin there were some absentees from the fast ' pack. The middlemarkers and the slow pack men are very keen, but training seems to be very lax amongst the "big six." There were three pneks, which set off at seven-minute intervals. The medium pack took charge with about half the distance covered and ran home about two minutes ahead of the slow and medium packs. The form shown was quite good nnd with three or four exceptions members appear to be settling down to steady training. A 120 yards sprint held before the run resulted: —R. Ilenshnll (20yds) 1. R. Harris (12yds) 2. R. Swinburne (scr) 3, R. Compton (20yds) 4. , Won by a foot in a good finish; CALLIOPE CLUB. The Calliope Club held a four-mile run over road and country. The course was the same as the Patterson Cup race next week, when Hamilton will be sending a team to contest the trophy. Twenty-seven runners were divided into three packs, and, judging by the form shown, keen racing Is anticipated next Saturday. Prior to the run a series of graded sprints were held. Results were as follow: — l_ First heat: Clayton 1, Turner 2. Ward 3. Second heat : Wallace 1. Clapham 2, Sanders and Drummond, dead heat, 3. Third heat: Davis 1, Smellie 2, Clow 3. Fourth heat: Ushakoff 1, Turner 2, Hardman 3. BAPTIST CLUB. A race over a four miles and a half course "wi> held by the Auckland Baptist Harrier Club in line weather this afternoon Veterans and novices ran together in one race. The road and country course lay from Richmond Baptist Church past the Zoo and across country to Motion's Creek thence return by Old Mill Road. The trail was laid by A. A. Knight and W. B. Armour.
