WAIKATO OLD BOYS' REUNION

The annual reunion dinner of the Waikato branch of the King's College Old Boys' Association was attended by GO old pupils. The Rev. Jasper Calder, president of the association, was in the chair, and Mr. A. M. Hume represented the King's College board of governors and the St. John's College Trust Board. Mr. C. T. Major, headmaster of King's Preparatory School, Remuera, was a guest.
The chairman referred to the important work the association was doing in the community, particularly the organisation of boys' gymnasiums in Auckland.
Toasts were honoured as follows: — "The College, the Board of Governors and tha School," proposed by Mr. G. Gilchrist and replied to by Mr. A. M. Hume, "Absent Old Boys, Guests and Auckland Old Boys," Mr. H. A. Swarbrick and Mr. T. H. Dawson; "Kindred Associations,?' Mr. W. P. Gray and Mr. C. B. Wake; "Masters, Past and Present," Mr. J. H. Penniket and Mr. A. Thomson. Reminiscences of St. John's were given by Mr. W. Fraser.
