CLAUDE NEON (VICTORIA), LIMITED
J Official quotation was granted by the Stock Exchange of Melbourne on May 31 to 60,000 fully paid £1 ordinary shares in Claude Neon Lights (Victoria), Limited. After three years of "strenuous effort" to establish "Claude Neon" signs in Victoria, business showed a large increase in the latter part of the year ended June 30, 1933, and sales improved by 93 per cent in the following year. At a meeting held last month shareholders were ihtormed that earnings were improving steadily, and that there appeared to be little likelihood of the dividend rate falling below G per cent. A distribution at that rate would require £3600, as compared with the 1034 profit of £2750.
