French Minister Collapses in President's Palace. HEART FAILURE. (Received 12.30 p.m.) PARIS, June 13' The Minister of Education, M. Marcombes, dropped dead from heart failure in the Presidential Palace while talking to colleagues, who were waiting to attend a Cabinet meeting. M. Laval summoned the Minister's wife and broke the news to her. , ~ The meeting was postponed. CHINESE ART. EXHIBITION IN LONDON. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 11.30 a.m.) RUGBY, June 13. Preparations are in hand for the great display of Chinese art at Burlington House in the atitumn. The exhibition will comprise representative Chinese paintings, many of great historic and artistic value, a fine selection of bronzes, porcelain, textiles and lacquer, some of which have been drawn from the Peking Palace collection. NO CHANGE. LORD CARSON'S ILLNESS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 11.30 a.m.) i RUGBY, June 13. The condition of Lord Carson, which showed slight improvement last night, is unchanged.
