NAPIER STAR FOR LONDON.

MARIPOSA FOR SYDNEY.

The Blue Star Company's Napier Star is a full 'ehip ami is due to sail for London, via Capo Horn, at 7 o'.clock this evening. The Matson liner Mariposa had a lot of cargo to discharge here from San Francisco, and will sail for Sydney at 10 p.m. sharp. She has 200 through passengers, and l~>o join her here. The Canadian , Scottish is due early to-morrow from Halifax, and the Piako will arrive lats this evening from the Knst Coast to complete her loading for London. A number of cargo stcamere ere due next week. The weather is now clearing ami the Manuka'ii Bar will be workable this afternoon. Mariposa arrived at 7.30 this morning from Sim Francisco and is busy discharging- at the Prince's wharf. She sails at 10 p.m. for Sydney. (H. and M.) Mernoo, of the Melbourne Steam Ship Company, arrived last evening from Sydney with a cargo of hardwood. She is discharging at the King's wharf. (W. and W.) Waipiata sails at 0 p.m. to-day on her usual run to Southern ports. (U.S.S. Co.) Waipahi was due to arrive at 3.30 this afternoon from >*ew Plymouth. She «;ails for Suv'a at 11 a.m. to-morrow to load for Auckland. (U.S.S. Co.) Kairanga is due here on Sunday from Newcastle and Sydney. After discharge she proceeds to Wellington. (U.S.S. Co.) Port Waikato arrived from Southern ports this morning and is. due to leave on her return South at 10.30 p.m. (X.S.S. Co.) Birchbank is due to sail for Suva tomorrow evening to load raw sugar for Great Britain. (Spedding, Ltd.) Canadian Scottish, which is due from Halifax advisee thi't she will arrive here to-morrow evening. (C.N.S.) Gunbar, the Richardson steamer which has been laid up in Shoal Bay for several years Was <locked yesterday for inspection with a view to purchase by Australian buyers. (W. and W.) Abel Tasman' is due from Sydnoy via Southern ports on Sunday. She loadfi here for Sydney, calling at Dargavillc on her way across. (N.S.S. Co.) Remuera, which left Wellington last Saturday for London, via Panama, reports meeting with moderate weather and she is 'all well." (N.Z-S. Co.)
