INCENTIVE FOR JUNIORS,
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
CHRISTCHURCH, this day.
The question of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association sending a team to Australia was discussed at a meeting of delegates of the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association. A motion "That this association is of opinion a team should be sent to Australia, provided it be composea of junior players, and that the cost per head docs not exceed £30," was carried. The mover stated it was nine years since a team had gone abroad from Now Zealand. Experience overseas was the best thing possible for young players.
