A teiirJßhny nail panic started among the parents of school children at Ljubljana, Yugoslavia, when the acute indigestion {of a nfte.eii-}'ear-old boy puzzled doctors, and led to the revelation he had swallowed 98 nails* In the collection the tenpenny variety predominated, but there were shingle nails and other shapes and sizes. When the word spread around" among other parents that .the bo ; v had sought to become- the champion nail swallower, all slight stomach-aches were looked upon with the gravest -sus-picion. No more nails have been- found, however. ,
