& SUBSTANTIAL INCREASE. ' The production of wool in New Zealand for the 1034-35 Benson is estimated at 202,000,00011? in the grease, while exports, including wool on ekins, since July last have totalled 188,000,0001 b on a greasy basis. Present indications (state the latest "Abstract of Statistics") therefore point to an increase of some magnitude in stocks at present being held in tin Dominion, as compared with the position at the end of last selling season. On Junt 30, 1934. stocks of wool totalled 49.800,00011 on a greasy basis, which quantity was however, reduced materially by shipment; in the "off season." The recent sue tained improvement in wool prices wil no doubt result in the release for ehip ment of considerable quantities of woo now held in the Dominion.
