Steeplechase Winner.—Unusual Sight at Wingatui. (By' Telegraph.-—Press Association.) DUiVEDIN, this day. Tho extraordinary eight of one horse winning a race while the others were still at the back of the course was witnessed at Wingatui to-day, when the Wingatui Steeplechase Handicap was run. Tho course is about 2.1 miles, and thwe were four starters, including the favourite, Graball. One, French Flieet, fell at the post and rail fence. At the small sod wall Gold Knight fell, and Diamond Jack baulked. . Graball went on to win while the others remained at the ba'jki . Gold Knight was remounted, and gave a- load to Diamond Jack, who beat him on the run home.
