LABOUR COUNCILLORS
In answer to "Worried," who writes aboi. the voting qualifications of the fifteen Labour members of the City Council, I would suggest that he should give them an opportunity °j putting the platform into operation first and then see how it wiil affect his or her pocket. Even if they have residential qualifications, or are occup'iers only, indirectly they contribute towards rates. So long as one has tne brains it should bo sufficient for all. I « -oUl(1 like to suggest to "Worried" why arc these things not brought up at elections. I am not a councillor, but am writing only as a rat *' payer. I wil£. vote for men who have the courage of th«f convictions. lam not a member of the Labour party, but I say give them an opportunity first and if they do not improve things in three years then let "Worried s party be returned to power. 1 * NOT WOKKIKD.
